Lexington, KY (PRWEB) September 4, 2008 — AMR Management Services (AMR), a full-service association management company, is pleased to announce the following new staff additions.

AMR has appointed Joy Ellis Kirchner, CMP, as the Director of Conferences. In this position Kirchner will deliver conference and events services to AMR full-service and a la carte clients including staffing plans for client events, negotiating contracts with hotels and other service providers, providing budget tracking, and assigning staff to ensure quality and total client satisfaction.

Prior to AMR, Kirchner worked for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts for twenty-four years as the Director of Convention/Catering Services. Kirchner achieved the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and the Learning Environment Specialist (LES) designations in 1998.

In addition, AMR has recently added Dianna Spina, CMP, as Conferences Manager. Spina’s responsibilities are event planning support, which include managing processes for efficiency, maintaining department records, and communicating with clients.

Spina’s prior experience includes the Crowne Plaza Lexington, where she held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for over two years. Spina achieved the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation in 2002.
