As Denver hosted the Democratic National Convention, the “mile high city” is still a buzz about hosting the next generation of politicians in its’ high profile speeches, time slots and possibly a future President of the United States.

(PRWEB) September 3, 2008 — Most are unsure how to address the Democratic Parties’ latest figure, Ambassador, Colonel, Delegate, Dignitary or Speaker all come to mind, but it’s evident Rick Hendrix is making the political rounds and bringing his own brand of faith and politics to the Democratic Party and turning heads in both red and blue states across the country. As Denver hosted the Democratic National Convention, the “mile high city” is still a buzz about hosting the next generation of politicians in its’ high profile speeches, time slots and possibly a future President of the United States.

One might say 38-year-old Rick Hendrix from North Carolina is rising within the Democratic Party being spotted at high profile events with Speaker Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, General Wesley Clark, escorting former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright out of the Vanity Fair/Google party and hobnobbing with the Clinton’s, her top advisers and gracing the rounds with news magnets Katie Couric, Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer and to top it off dancing, in the after party hotspots, with Jamie Foxx, Steven Spielberg, Spike Lee and Google founder Larry Page.

Hendrix labels himself a country boy from the hills of North Carolina, but this music mogul has built a promotion empire that has generated a quarter of a billion record sells since the 90’s. The Rick Hendrix Company with offices in Los Angeles, Chicago and Nashville handles a third of all positive and Christian music heard on modern day American radio. Minds are wondering and circles have been a buzz for months concerning his shift and almost hierarchy acceptance into the political dynasties of the Democratic Party. After his speech to a corner of celebrities and political icons during Vanity Fair and Google’s exclusive, elaborate blowout finale, few are left in the dark of Mr. Hendrix’s plans and aspiration as he draws a sharp distinction between his political career and his life long dedication as a Christian. “Politics are sometimes about an individual’s quest for power, but my Christian faith and political ambition is about loving others and helping everyone towards the common goal of peace. I seek political placement because it will give me the opportunity to create change, not demand it,” stated Hendrix.

As the night went on, Hendrix found the small posse he arrived with had blossomed into a room of the world’s most notable figures and their eyes and ears were fixed on his every word, jokes and smiles. I listened as he finished an interview with Washington Post reporter Michelle Boorstein, as she was wrapping up a story and deadline for the morning paper. Actress Anne Hathaway said, “Rick inspires and excites me about the future of our party. Now, if I can get him to say President Obama instead of Senator, I will be happy.” Hendrix laughed and said, “This is amazing. God is working here. He has seasoned me for this place in my life and I am praying for His guidance as we walk through the doors of change for our constituents.” It doesn’t take much for my mind to wonder back a few years to an unknown 43-year-old State Senator named Barrack Obama who marched up on the stage during the 2004 Democratic National Convention and captivated the audience with a riveting speech.

This year, the Democrats are hoping that lighting strikes again as the Democratic National Convention has showcased some of their rising stars of the Democratic Party. The real question is, will Rick Hendrix be the one? Will his message of peace before politics, wisdom before war and God before government fall on deaf ears? Or could Denver, CO be the birthplace of a mans dreams for a better America and find country boy Rick Hendrix forwarding his mail to Pennsylvania Ave? Hendrix laughed and said, “Not likely. However, I would love to continue this journey and do my part for our country.”
