Jackson sued by lawyers over money
Michael Jackson has been sued by his former lawyers Lavely & Singer for allegedly still owing them $113,750 in legal fees.
Documents state that the superstar had an installment plan set up for him to pay back the $180,000 debt that he owed but he never paid up.
It is the second time this year that Jackson has been accused of skipping payments by a group of his ex-lawyers.
In June a law firm based in Delaware claimed he had never given them the $109,994 that he owed them for being the “general counsel” in a case about the singer backing out of two concerts in 2000.
Spokespeople for Michael Jackson have so far been unavailable for comment about the lawsuit.
